Kwabena Nuamah

Research Interests

My research interests include knowledge representation, question answering using inferences drawn from web knowledge graphs, distributed learning and reasoning systems, and explainable AI. I am currently focused on the hybrid forms of reasoning that combine both symbolic and sub-symbolic methods (including neural networks) in a hybrid and compositional architecture.

I co-founded the FRANK Lab with Prof Alan Bundy where we focus our research and discussions on the FRANK (Functional Reasoner for Acquiring New Knowledge) question-answering system.
I am also a co-founder of Cognate Systems, a software engineering company in Ghana.
